This document will guide you through the set-up and installation of Miranda
iControl Solo and IC-USB (if required). Please follow the steps and make sure
you meet the recommended requirements. (See details below)
Recommended PC Requirement:
Pentium 4 1.5GHz, 512 Meg RAM, 100 Meg of free space on the hard drive.
Windows XP professional
USB port (for imaging)
Ethernet NIC (for Densité; Densité controller requires the ETH option)
1024x768 display resolution or better
Operating System: iControl Solo will run on Windows XP Professional only
Software Installation:
DO NOT INSTALL OR CONNECT FRAMES TO YOUR PC BEFORE YOU HAVE
FINISHED INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE.
Insert the “Miranda iControl Solo” installation CD in your CR-ROM drive. After
a few seconds, the installation application will automatically start.
Follow the instructions provided during the software installation
Connect frames to your PC. See instructions “How to Connect Imaging &
Densité Frames”
Run “iControl Solo” application
Configure Densité & Imaging frames to iControl solo. See “How to Configure
your Densité and imaging frames”

Connecting Densité frames through an Ethernet Router and Symphonie and
Quartet 2 frames through the IC-USB

How to configure your Densité and imaging frames
in Miranda iControl Solo
Configuring a Densité Frame
1) Start the Miranda iControl Solo application
2) Double click on “DENSITÉ MANAGER”
Double Click on
« Densité Manager »
3) In the “Densité Manager” window, you can see the frames assigned to
Miranda iControl Solo. In this menu you can: Add, Remove or put a frame
on Standby.
To assign a Densité frame click the “Add” button

4) Enter the Densité Frame IP address and name in the identified section
and click “OK” when finished. Your frame has been assigned to Miranda
iControl Solo.

Configuring imaging Frames (Quartet2 & Symphonie)
1) Start the Miranda iControl Solo application
2) Double click on “imaging Communicator”
Double Click on « imaging
Communicator »
3) Select the “COM Port” as per IC-USB driver installation
4) Click on “online” to activate port and frames connected to the RS422 port
Note: All frames connected to the RS422 will be activated together .
