Dorothy DoLittle lives beside an old tree … the enchanted gateway to a mysterious
land called the Land of the DoLots.
On her magical adventure she meets Ronnie Run-A-Lot and Clarence Carrot, who
teach her all about being fit and healthy. The magic DoLots dust is stolen! Will
Dorothy get fit enough to get it back and be able to return home?

Dorothy DoLittle’s Adventure to the Land of DoLots has been delighting audiences
around Cork City and county for the past few months and now
Call Back are delighted to be part of this year’s Midsummer Festival with their first
adventure into children’s puppet shows.

Cora Fenton and John Sheehy co-founded Call Back Theatre. The inaugural
production ‘Two’ was the first ever production to be held at the Cork Arts Theatre Bar
before going on tour. To date Call Back has produced ‘A Galway Girl’ for the launch
of lunchtime theatre at Cruises Café Limerick and premiered the award winning
‘Lovely Hurling’. Call Back has been invited to read at a number of Literary Festivals
including the ‘Between the Lines Festival’ in Belfast the Voices festival in
BallyLongford and Eigse in Newcastlewest where they have performed dramatic
readings from both Paddy Galvin’s work and Paddy Kennelly’s ‘A Place Too Small for
Secrets’ and ‘Disciples’.
Call Back’s biggest production to date has been John Godber’s ‘Shakers Re-Stirred’
last year.

Call Back are very grateful to the Health Service Executive and Ballyhoura
Development for their generous support and sponsorship which has enabled Dorothy
DoLittle to be performed in schools around the Cork Kerry and Limerick region.

The Cork Midsummer Festival opens on Tuesday 14th June and runs until Sat 25th
June with over thirty different events including music, dance, theatre, family events
and visual arts.
Something for everyone to enjoy.
