AGREEMENT, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, AND SIGNATURE
By taking the Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. security course and signing below, I agree to and acknowledge the following terms:
-By taking and participating in the Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. training course does not guarantee that I will pass the provincial test,
become a licensed security guard, or be hired by a security company.
-Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. reserves the right to state that I have not completed the course and not submit my name to the
Ministry if I do not complete all of the following:
-Fill out and fax the Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. training application and the Ministry Consent and Release of Liability Form to
Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc.
-Pay Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc.
-Read all lectures and make any relevant notes.
-Complete and submit all assignments to the instructors satisfaction.
-Complete and submit all quiz's to the instructors satisfaction.
-Participate in the online forum for each section, post a response to the forums topic, and participate in any discussion generated.
-Participate at least twice in the live instructor lead discussions.
-Produce proof and certification of achieving at minimum Emergency Level First Aid.
-If first aid certification is achieved before signing up for the TSG basic security training course, complete Section #12 Emergency Level
First Aid Review and complete all quiz's, assignments, and forum discussions associated with that section.
-To complete the course, I must complete and produce evidence of completing at minimum Emergency Level First Aid with an accredited
trainer who complies with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. reserves the right to not
recognize first aid training that is done by a non accredited trainer.
-It is my full responsibility to complete the course, book my provincial test, and write the provincial test. It is not the responsibility of
Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. to ensure that I complete the course, book my provincial test, or write the provincial test.
-It is my responsibility to file an application with the Ministry for my security guard license.
-I am responsible for paying all other fees associated with becoming a licensed security guard including the provincial test and license
application fees.
-I am expected to complete the course within four (4) months. After four (4) months, access will be denied to me unless I provide an
explanation to Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc.
-After I pass the Ministry test, access to the online learning classroom will be removed. After passing the provincial test, all obligations of
Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. to me regarding training will cease.
-Access to the Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. online learning classroom will only be granted once the Tempest Security Group (TSG)
Inc. Training Application Form, Ministry Consent and Release of liability Form, and payment has been received by Tempest Security Group
(TSG) Inc.
-It is at the full discretion of Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. and/or the instructor to state if I have completed the course.
-I understand that all aspects of the online classroom, lectures, quiz's, assignments, and forum topics/discussions are the property of
Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. and I will not duplicate or use any part without the written permission of Tempest Security Group (TSG)
Inc.
-I will refrain from inappropriate, harassing, abusive, vulgar, demeaning, or offensive language when communicating on the online forum,
with other students, Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. or the instructor(s). Doing so will result in my removal from the course with no
refund.
-I understand that all sales are final and there are no refunds or exchanges.
-I will not hold Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc., their directors, employees, subcontractors, volunteers, or agents liable or responsible
for not completing the course, not completing the provincial test, or failing the provincial test.
-I herby release and discharge Tempest Security Group (TSG) Inc. and their directors, employees, subcontractors, volunteers, and agents,
from any and all actions, claims, and demands for damages, loss, or injury, howsoever arising, except as a result of negligence or wilful
misconduct which may hereafter be sustained by myself as a result of taking the online Security Training Course with Tempest Security
Group (TSG) Inc. This document shall be binding upon and shall ensure to the benefit of my respective heirs, and administrators.
I certify that I have read the information in this document thoroughly, that I fully understand it, and that by signing below, I agree to all
the terms and conditions listed in this document. This document is governed by the laws of Ontario.
