   forests and grand estates. Every night you berth in a new location with a gourmet dinner served on board.
Hosted by J&H Tours owners, John & Helen Ross, this seven day luxury cruise onboard the Orient-Express barge
                         ‘Napoléon’, includes return first class TGV train transfers from Paris.
   The Napoléon is one of Europe’s finest river cruisers, combining all the amenities of a luxury hotel with the
    friendly ambience of a country inn. She is beautifully appointed with large picture windows that provide
unsurpassed views of the countryside. Accommodating up to twelve passengers, the six luxurious cabins feature
                                  air conditioning, hairdryer, television and video.

                                                                  Sunday 03 May – Tain l’Hermitage
                                                                  Champagne reception onboard followed by a wine tasting at Mr Ferraton’s
                                                                  winery.
                                                                  Monday 04 May – Cruise to Viviers
                                                                  Scenic cruise to Viviers for a guided walking tour in this charming medieval
                                                                  town.
                                                                  Tuesday 05 May – Nyons – Cruise to St Etienne des Sorts
                                                                  Visit to a working lavender distillery and 18th century olive mill in Nyons
                                                                  and the opportunity to taste the black diamond at a truffle farm.
                                                                  Wednesday 06 May – Châteauneuf du Pape – Cruise to Avignon
                                                                  Wine tasting at Châteauneuf du Pape, afternoon excursion to Pont du
                                                                  Gard, part of the Roman aqueduct that transported spring water from Uzès
                                                                  to Nîmes.
                                                                  Thursday 07 May – Avignon – Cruise to Arles – Les Baux
                                                                  Guided tour of the Palace of the Popes in Avignon and a relaxing afternoon
                                                                  in the village of Les Baux.
                                                                  Friday 08 May – Arles – Cruise to Vallabrègues – St Rémy
                                                                  Guided walking tour of Arles, lunch served while cruising to Vallabrègues,
                                                                  afternoon visit to the lovely St Rémy, olive oil tasting at a traditional 18th
                                                                  century Provençal Bastide, farewell gala dinner on board.

                                          CLASSIC PROVENCE POST TOUR EXTENSION
Our Classic Provence tour commences in Nice on 17 April and ends in Paris on 30 April 2009.
You may choose to spend the three nights between the tour and barge cruise in Paris or Avignon:
  • Enjoy four days in the romantic city of Paris, travel by TGV train to Valence to be met and transferred to your barge cruise then return
     by TGV to Paris.
  • Extend your stay in our hotel in Avignon prior to being escorted to the barge cruise and return by TGV to Paris at the end of the cruise.
J&H Tours will provide your TGV first class train transfers.
Prices for hotels and transfers in Paris or the Hotel d’Europe in Avignon are available upon application.
                                              CLASSIC TUSCANY PRE TOUR EXTENSION
Our Classic Tuscany tour commences in Rome on 08 May and ends in Milan on 20 May 2009.
As joining the barge means foregoing the first night in Rome on the Tuscany tour, we would offer you the following:
  • Complimentary TGV first class train transfer from Paris to the Barge and return.
  • Complimentary air travel from Paris to Florence.
  • Complimentary transfer from Florence to Castello di Tornano in Tuscany where you will meet with your fellow guests for an afternoon
      at leisure at this beautiful villa.
Should you wish to spend one or more nights in Paris prior to the TGV train to Valence on 03 May, we can assist you with accommodation
and transfer arrangements.
