MOVIE MAKING
A storyboard is a series of boxes that visualize the plot of a
film. Each scene is described and usually illustrated in an
individual box of the storyboard. A storyboard cannot
possibly give all the details of the short story, but it does
try to capture the spirit of the story. It includes all the
elements of a good plot- the exposition, rising action,
climax, falling action, and the resolution/solution.
You are the movie maker for “Amigo Brothers.” You
MUST recreate the events in the book on the nine-box
storyboard. Choose nine of the most important scenes in
the story to put in your storyboard. Be sure to represent
ALL the pieces of the plot. Include in the upper portion of
each of your boxes a visual description of the setting, the
action in the scene, and the characters. In the lower
section of the box, explain what piece of the plot the
scene comes from AND why the scene is important in
the story.
