					Definitions:
Heat Sink – Any substance that can absorb and store heat

Albedo – The amount of radiation that is reflected by a surface

Heat sink and albedo are opposites of each other, i.e. ice has a high albedo and a low heat sink,
while asphalt has a low albedo and a high heat sink.

Changes in Earth’s Albedo can have an overall cooling or warming effect.
