Employee Self Service Enrollment
Employees will receive an ESS Enrollment letter from their company's HR / Payroll
department. This enrollment letter has all the instructions necessary for the employee
begin his / her enrollment and begin using ESS. The basic process is outlined below.
NOTE: The ESS Enrollment letter instructs the employee to login with their SSN in the
format XXX-XX-XXXX. The employee's SSN is only used during the enrollment process and
is not part of their permanent username.
The employee should follow the instructions in the ESS Enrollment letter to
begin the enrollment process. Website to login: https://www.payentry.com/ee/
The employee will be prompted to enter their email address, and the
current password from the enrollment letter. Then they click the 'Submit'
The employee will receive and email and needs to click on the verification
link in the email from payentry.com. They should then get a web page with a
message indicating their email address has been verified and they can log into
payentry.com by clicking the Continue button.
The next screen indicates that the email was verified and click on the
button to Continue the login process.
The employee should follow the email instructions to log into ESS with
their SSN and the current password from the enrollment letter one more time.
The next screen will inform them they will no longer be able to log in with
their SSN. Their new username will be their email address used during the first
part of the enrollment process.
The employee must put a checkmark in the box labeled "Please click this
checkbox to acknowledge that you have read and understand this change."
The employee must key in a New Password of their own choosing.
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain letters AND non-
The employee must key in their Current Password from the enrollment
letter one last time.
Once all these fields have been filled in, the employee clicks the "Submit"
and "Continue" button. The employee has now completed the enrollment
process and is logged into ESS.
The employee will see a welcome announcement that instructs them how
to customize their ESS home page if they wish. Click the "OK" button after
reading the message, and the employee can begin using ESS.
Employee Logging into (ESS) and Customizing Home Page
a. You can go to the website on the report or go to Southwestern Payroll’s
website (www.swpay.com) >Log in to Employee Self Service (Do not go into
Millennium, choose the second link down.)

b. Enter www.swpayroll.com into your internet browser. Your next screen will
be the log in screen.
c. Once you are logged into Employee Self Service you will see Quick Links at
the top/left of your screen. It is a good idea to review each link at its
associated drop-down list.
d. You will find a lot of the information you will want to view is in the Employee
I). Here you can print or view your check stub and update your address.
e. To view your check stub Go to Employee Quick Link>Pay History

or print it.
g. In pay history you can look at your checks for a specific range and check
your year-to-date. If you do, be sure to click the Recalculate button at the
bottom of the screen.
