RMA instructions
To better assist you with returning your printers as quickly as possible, please follow instructions below:
All information should be entered in .xls format.
Do not send printers without stock for us to test with
RMAs that arrive without current stock will be put on hold until the stock arrives.
1. Fill in the printer serial numbers (located inside top cover). If there is no serial number, use your companies
identification number as a reference that is printed on your company id tag.
2. Fill in the reported problem. A short but accurate explanation will assist in your repairs .
3. Your email address is required to process your Rma request. Please fill this in under the name and address column.
4. Check the return address and phone number at the top of the form. If it is incorrect please correct the information.
5. Return the completed RMA form to Vidtronixrmas@aol.com before the printers are shipped.
6. We will assign RMA numbers and email back to you. (your: shipping address, phone number and email are required)
(Your; shippind informatin, ie… FedEx, UPS, DHL …….number)
7. Place one copy of the completed form in the box with the printers.
8. Please do not send your power supplies, cords or adapters in with the printers.
9. Supply your current BagTag and Boarding Pass stock with the printers, as we will not start work on the
printers without your stock. We typically use 50 documents to test each printer, ie: 10 printers = 500 tickets.
We will need 50 pieces of each stock type you use per printer, possibly more if it is an intermittent jamming issue.
10. Printers that arrive in the original Vidtronix boxes will not be charged for a packing fee when returned
The packing charge is $5:00 per box otherwise. If we can recycle boxes, everybody wins!
