Prophetic encouragement and declaration

The Hebrew month of Nissan has begun. It is the first month of the Jewish religious
year. It is also the month of Judah and is represented by the Lion at rest. Judah, the
Lion, “reposes” upon or over that which is His. His work is completed—His reign is
established.
In a world in transition and filled with uncertainty, where each week brings renewed
angst and dread, the great Lion of Judah’s voice sounds out this message,
“Thus God, determining to show more abundantly to the heirs of promise the
immutability (unchangeableness) of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath, that by two
immutable things (His oath and His covenant) in which it is impossible for God to lie, we
might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge, to lay hold of the hope set
before us. This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and
which enters the presence behind the veil (before the Holy of Holies—Lev. 16:2)”,
Hebrews 6:17-19.
“. . . by two unchangeable things (His promise and His oath) in which it is impossible for
God ever to prove false or deceive us, we who have fled to Him for refuge might have
mighty indwelling strength and strong encouragement to grasp and hold fast to the hope
appointed for us and set before us. Now we have this hope as a sure and steadfast
anchor of the soul (it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon
it), that reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of the presence within (inside
of) the veil of the Holy of Holies”( Hebrews 6:17-19 in the Amplified Bible).
Now, you are the heirs of promise! You can rest assured in God’s expressed purpose to
bless you in Christ! By His fulfilled promises to Abraham, you can be certain God
performs what He promises and He has promised you victory and blessing. He confirms
this by His oath (word) to you and covenant (New Testament) with you. This should
remove all doubt from you and assure you that hope for (belief in) this promise can be
laid hold of (by you) as sure as an anchor cast inside the Holy of Holies (in the very
midst of God’s presence). Let the knowledge of this comfort, encourage and reassure
you in the very midst of transitional days and a chaotic world system.
An anchor is an instrument for holding a ship at rest in water or sea. An anchor is also
that which provides stability or security; that on which we place dependence for safety.
God has provided such an anchor for you in these days in Jesus Christ, our great High
Priest. God swears this to you on His very self and has set a foundation for a covenant
with you upon the hope of this fact. Jesus is our “surety” of this better new covenant
(Hebrews 7:22) and the hope it brings. He asks us to share the cup of this covenant with
Him often (I Cor. 11:25) and be filled with its hope.
Amidst the crashing seas of these disturbing days, let the words of this old hymn be your
daily confession: “When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace;
in every high and stormy gale, my anchor holds within the veil. His oath, His covenant,
His blood, support me in the whelming flood; when all around my soul gives way, He
then is all my hope and stay. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking
sand, all other ground is sinking sand.”
In a stormy and tempestuous earthly climate we offer this declaration for your use:
My Lord and my God, I call out to you today. From the midst of storm-filled skies,
wind-swept waves, and crashing seas, I make this declaration before you. You are
my strength and my refuge this very hour. You do hear me and will save me Lord.
You answer with the saving strength of your sure right hand from Your holy
heaven. You send me help from Your sanctuary and strength out of Zion. The
heathen and the demonic seas are raging about—tossing souls till they melt and cry
out from their wits end.
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses”—some in human leadership and
fleshly, man-made devices. But I will remember the name of the Lord my God.
They may bow down and fall; but I will arise and stand upright! For my King
answers when I call. I declare before both man and demon; before earthly
government and seats of power, that MY LORD SAVES AND MY GOD REIGNS!
For He has promised by His word and by His covenant in Jesus, to bring me out and
to bless me. In Him alone do I trust; and toward His saving presence, in faith do I
cast my anchor of hope!
For my faith has substance—the substance of things hoped for and my hope can
see—through the veil of God’s temple into His presence where my anchor of hope is
fastened. It is there my hope holds secure in the person of Jesus Christ. For I know
that in that place, in God’s person, true authority buds, blooms, and bears fruit.
From that place manna is provided daily for my needs to be met. And there God’s
word is held in testament to provide illumination to my life, continual direction to
my days, and constant light over my pathway.
Therefore, though I may walk through the very valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no, I say NO evil! For you are with me!
