Excel Control Chart spreadsheet
This spreadsheet is used to produce a control chart from your data. The Template
sheet is duplicated by the macro and the selected column of data is then pasted into
this new sheet and charted.
For this program to run in Excel 2003 you need to ensure that the security is set to
medium (Tools -> Macro -> Security… and select Medium. If this was not previously
set, you will have to restart the Spreadsheet. You should be asked on opening if you
would like to enable the macros in this sheet. Select Enable)
Usage:
Copy your data in to the sheet named Data
Please ensure that your data is in columns with the name in Row 1 of your column.
Select a column of data (at least 12). To generate your Control Chart, click on the
‘ControlChart’ macro button or from Tools -> Macro -> Macros… select
CreateControlChart.
A new sheet will be created (Sheet 1) and the control chart for the selected column of
data will be generated.
Returning to sheet Data, you may then select another column of data and repeat the
process. This will create Sheet 2 and so forth.
