                                                Introduction

 On August 8th, a PRISM upgrade will be implemented.
    Why?
 Epic releases upgrades to their system several times
per year, including a major annual upgrade. The
latest such upgrade, titled “Summer 2009”, contains a
number of enhancements recommended for use.
 Although the look and feel of PRISM is changing, your
access to activities and tools is not changing.

  new Epic
  button.
 This button
  helps to
  make the

  busy.
 Clicking on
  the Epic
  button opens
  the main
  menu of
  activities.
 Under the
  Epic button is
  a Recent
  section which
  automatically
  populates as
  you open
  various
  activities.
 If you use
  one of the
  recently
  accessed
  activities
  often, you
  can pin it
  down to your
  favorites list.
                         Do this by
                          clicking on
                          the star next

 Notice that
  the shortcut
  buttons on
  the

  moved up.
 And, all the
  startup
  activities that
  open in the
  home
  workspace
  are now
  mini-tabs.
 You can
  choose color
  themes for
  hyperspace.
 Themes can
  personalize
  the look of
  hyperspace
  as well as
  relieve eye
  strain in
  some cases.
 There are
  eight themes
  to choose
  from.
 Here you see
  an example
  of the carbon

  Time Entry,
  you can
  select the
  hour and

  single mouse
  clicks.
 Note the
  24-hour clock
  for time
  entry.
 Pinning a
  report to the
  side of the
  chart for
  reference is
  a handy tool
  while working
  in various
  activities.
 In this
  example, the
  Chart Review
  activity is
  open and an
  Imaging
  report is
  pinned to the
  side.
 The side
  report you
  pinned
  earlier is still
  visible when
  you go to
  another
  activity.
 The Chart
  Review
  menu now
  offers a
  Results
  Review
  button when
  you click on
  the Lab tab.
 By clicking
  on the Lab
