“You set them in slippery places: you cast them down into destruction.”

V. THE SORROW vv. 21-22
“So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.”
1) His conviction.
2) His contrition.

VI. THE SECURITY vv. 23-24
“You will guide me … and afterward receive me to glory.”
1) His earthly presence.
2) His eternal presence.

VII. THE STRENGTH vv. 25-26,28
“Whom have I in heaven but thee … it is good to draw near to God:”
1) His confession.
2) His conclusion
