Vendor Requirement Quick Reference
Honeywell ACS ECC Vendor Requirement Quick Reference applies to the requirements found in the Honeywell
Engineering Specification for Packaging Identification ES 116D rev C, Logistics Guidebook for ACS ECC rev B, and ACS ECC
Receiving Bar Code Specification for Finished Goods rev B. This quick reference is intended to serve only as a high level
summary and is not a replacement for these documents. For full details of requirements, refer to the documents listed above (also
located at http://content.honeywell.com/sensing/ve/barcode.stm).
PALLET SPECIFICATIONS AND BUILD
Dimensions – 40” x 32” four way entry pallets only Height – must not exceed 48” including pallet base
Load – must not exceed 2,000 lbs. gross weight per pallet
Suppliers must be compliant with USDA and APHIS requirements for heat-treated pallets which apply to all domestic and
international shipments (available at http://www.aphis.usda.gov/ppq/wpm/import.html).
Refer to Logistics Guidebook for specific requirements on pallet build and product placement.
DOCUMENTATION
Minimum 2 Packing Slips required per shipment – one with the load and one with the bill of lading.
Handwritten changes on documentation are not acceptable.
Packing Slip must reference the following:
Honeywell part number
Unit quantity
Honeywell P.O. number and P.O. line number; include Release number if applicable
Supplier Name and/or ID number
For all International shipments a copy of the commercial invoice must be provided – refer to Logistics Guidebook for specific
commercial invoice information that must be included.
TRANSIT
Pallets – must be loaded to prevent shifting during transit.
Delivery – for transportation paid for by Honeywell, U.S. Suppliers must call the Material Tracking Network (MTN) at
1-800-946-4020.
Delivery – International Suppliers must ship according to specifications in the Logistics Guidebook.
PACKAGING IDENTIFICATION (refer to ES116D for detailed specifications)
Packaging - Standard carton quantities must be utilized.
All packaging label barcodes must follow the Code 128 data standard and conform to AIAG barcode standards.
All packaging identification requirements must be in compliance with Honeywell Engineering Specification for
Packaging Identification ES 116D.
Carton Label Barcode Requirements: All cartons containing one or more consumer units of the same identity must be
labeled and bar-coded with following at minimum:
Correct SCS number Quantity Pack Type
Honeywell part number (printed) Date Code
o Refer to Engineering Specification for Packaging Identification ES 116D for detailed field/barcode requirements.

ADVANCE SHIPMENT NOTIFICATION
Honeywell ECC expects to require Advance Shipment Notification (ASNs) from all suppliers by end of 2006. We will be
coordinating format and communication method with our suppliers during first half of 2006.
