Why OU? I chose OU because of the dual degree programs they offer.
Knowing that I wanted to come to OU for their law degree
program, it was wonderful to find out I could obtain an MBA at
the same time. The MBA program OU has to offer has the
perfect combination of classroom knowledge, soft skills, and real-
world experience opportunities. I feel confident in OU’s ability
to produce a well-rounded MBA student.
What was your My undergraduate major was in Marketing, as well as a minor in
undergrad major International Business. I obtained these degrees from Oklahoma
(previous degree)? State University in Stillwater.
What is your work I just graduated from OSU in May 2008 and therefore do not have
experience? any professional work experience. I chose to come directly
following graduation because of my desire to attend law school;
becoming a part of the MBA program was a decision I made later.
What internships or Due to the fact that I will not be graduating until 2012, many
job offers have you companies have expressed the desire to employ me in future
already received or summers. For this reason, I will focus summer 2009 on volunteer
looking for? opportunities and law school preparation. For summers 2010 and
2011, I hope to obtain employment with a large law firm or large
corporation either domestically or internationally.
What is your big My ultimate goal in my 20s is to obtain my desired degrees and
goal in life? What do find a career I am passionate about with a company I love. Once
you want to do most I am in my 30s, I think my goals in life will shift from work-
in the world (if focused to more family-oriented. By that point in my life, I hope
anything were to be financially stable and satisfied with my career enough to
possible)? take time away to start a family.

Hobbies: The GBA, shopping, volunteering (especially for organizations
such as the humane society, The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, etc.),
planning events, studying abroad, etc.
Favorite Activities: I love to take naps with my puppies, watch movies, socializing
with good friends, swim and lay out on a hot day, and travel.
Favorite Movies: Ghost, Pride and Prejudice, Superbad, The Firm, Super Troopers,
Sex and the City…too many to name!
Favorite Books: The Bible, most biographies and autobiographies, books covering
real-life events, etc.
Favorite Music: Britney Spears, Otis Redding, Al Green, Anna Nalick, Coldplay,
The Flaming Lips, John Legend, Justin Nozuka, Kanye West,
Regina Spektor, Sia, T.I., Timbaland…too many to name!
Favorite Magazines: My favorite weekly and monthly reads are BusinessWeek, US
Weekly, and Cosmopolitan.

Favorite Restaurant: My favorite restaurant in Norman is Blue. In Oklahoma City, my
favorite places to eat are Saturn Grill (for lunch) and Deep Fork
Grill (for dinner).
