Federal Express (FedEx) is one of the leading express transportation companies
in the Philippines. The company began its operations in the Philippines in 1985
through its local licensee, Airfreight 2100 Inc. In 1995, FedEx opened its Asia
Pacific Hub in Subic Bay, which today connects to 19 key markets in Asia
through the AsiaOne network.

FedEx serves all major cities in the Philippines, with 60 weekly scheduled flights
from Subic Bay and seven flights from Manila. Using its own wide-bodied Airbus
310 and MD-11 aircraft, these flights provide Philippine customers with overnight
connectivity to Asian destinations and most of North America, or within two
business days for other North American destinations. Customers are also
connected to Europe and the Middle East through the FedEx European Hub in
Paris.

In the Philippines, FedEx, through its local licensee, currently operates 172 drop-
off locations, 16 stations, and a fleet of more than 200 vehicles that provides
convenient service to customers nationwide. To track packages, customers may
log onto the website (www.fedex.com), or call the 24-hour Customer Service
Hotline at 632 855-8484. There is also a 24-hour toll-free number for Philippine
provincial customers: 1-800-10-855-8484.

FedEx employs 776 people to support its Gateway Operations in the Philippines,
which consist of Subic Bay, Manila and Cebu.
