TRUCK Contemporary Art Soap Box Series in collaboration with
Quickdraw Animation Society presents:

Trails of Ponytails Artist Talk
With

Barry Doupé (Vancouver B.C.)
Following the screening of Barry Doupé's animation Ponytail presented by
Quickdraw Animation Society at the Artcity Festival, the artist will give a talk, show
work in progress and selected clips from previous works in TRUCK’s Main Space on
Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 1:00pm.

Barry Doupé (b. Victoria, BC) is a filmmaker living in Vancouver. He holds a
Bachelor of Media Arts Degree from Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design. His films
have been screened throughout Canada and Internationally including the Ann Arbor
Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, Lyon Contemporary Art Museum, Pleasure
Dome and the Tate Modern.

Date: Saturday, September 18, 2010 @ 1 PM
Where: TRUCK Contemporary Art, 815 First Street SW, lower level of the Grain
Exchange Building

Screening: Friday, September 17, 2010 @ 9pm in the Uptown Stage and
Screen (612-8th 8 Avenue SW)

The Soap Box Series is open to the public and attendance is free.
