If jogging in the morning isn't really your thing and building staring at movies on Youtube gets
boring, then making movies can also be a great experience.
Here's a mini-tutorial of how you can set up your own movie that sends you a powerful sound +
visual message of what you want.
Collect pictures that represent what you want. You can do this by doing Google Image searches,
or you can use your own camera. The idea is what you create the video within 30 min, so you
don't lose heart and give up on an unfinished project.
Throw as much symbolism in here as you want. I never hesitate to make my pictures very
personal in a discreet way.
Next find a your favorite song. This can be a classical tune, your favorite La's song, or even a
hymnal. The only limitation is that it must be a song that makes you smile and happy when you
hear it.
It should be very nostalgic.
Now you are going to combine a slideshow of your pictures accompanied by the music you have
chosen using Windows Movie Maker. My favorite song is "There She Goes" sung by The La's
by the way. :-) Aim to make it no longer than 20-30 seconds.
Movie Maker is so easy to use it's crazy. Once you have completed your video you can put it on
your ipod or program it to play every morning as your alarm clock.
Here's one that I made for the fall. I really like the colors the trees flash in the fall.
