FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Two Requests for Proposals Issued
On June 7, 2007, Baltimore Substance Abuse Systems (BSAS) issued two Requests for
Proposals (RFP) including:
1. Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Services for Participants in Baltimore Drug
Treatment Courts, and
2. Residential Substance Abuse Treatment for Court Committed Defendants with Co-
Occurring Substance Abuse and Mental Health Disorders.
Eligibility to Apply
Substance abuse treatment programs that are certified by the State of Maryland to provide the
required levels of care are eligible to apply.
Important Dates
June 7, 2007 Requests for Proposals issued by BSAS
June 18, 2007 Pre-bid conference for both RFP’s at 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at BSAS
July 2, 1007 Applications due by 4:00 p.m. at BSAS
July 25, 2007 Awards announced (on or about)
August 1, 2007 Services begin (on or about)
