Dreams
Keep an open mind. It is sometimes harder to interpret our own dreams than those of someone
else. We are too close. P11 (can’t see the forest for the trees)
There is rarely one right answer to interpreting dreams.
It is estimated that we dream for 2 hours per night. P 15
We loose half of the substance of a dream 5 minutes after it’s ended, after 10minutes almost 90%
is gone. P 30
You should always surround yourself with the white light before you fall asleep and ask to
remember your dreams. P 32
The more of your dreams you write down or talk about immediately after waking up the more you
will remember. (Even fragments)
Our subconscious mind, where dreams live, are infinitely more sophisticated than our conscious
minds can ever hope to be. P 42 Our spirit minds have infinite patience. They will send the same
dream over and over, or a variation on the dream with the same message. Also gentle and kind
and very aware of what our conscious minds can handle.
Dream Journals.
Remembering your dreams is a learned skill. It takes patience, patience, patience, and practice,
practice, practice. P 67
Mozart received many of his works through dreams. Also Robert Lewis Stevenson (Dr. Jekyll and
Mr. Hyde)
5 categories of dreams
1. Prophetic Dream – Witnessing the future while we sleep. Every prophetic dream has 2
qualities in common, always in color, always there is action in the dream with one event
leading to another (a logical sequence),often too unspecific to be of help,
Where do these come from?- we may have plugged into our charts, or someone else’s When
these dreams are wrong – we interject our own fear into the dream, we don’t remember all of the
dream.
Getting answers to questions – focus on the question as you fall asleep, write down any
responses you wake up with, practice, practice, practice. P 37
2. Release Dream – emotional exhaling. Working out fears, frustrations, stress and anger
during the night so we don’t have to carry this with us during the day. most confusing,
chaotic, preposterous and disturbing, dreams we have. Nightmares fear, Without release
1
dreams we would be chronically stressed out or completely psychotic.
3 kinds of release dreams
a. Time warp – find yourself back in time. Most frequently occur when we are questioning our
life choices, successes, etc. These lend themselves well to reprogramming. Think of a
revised ending; think upon it as you fall asleep.
b. Chased by something evil – post-traumatic stress, personal tragedy, Stand firm and
meet your pursuer’s eyes and say with courage (whether you are feeling courage or not)
“Through God’s love and power. I release and resolve you into the white light of healing,
now and forever.”
c. . Worst case scenarios – the most awful things that could happen. These allow us to release
these fears of the worst and concentrate on something more manageable.
Release dreams allow us to get rid of unresolved or unexpressed issues. It focuses these issues
into the spotlight and subconsciously we act out whatever frustrations, anger, regret, guilt,
resentment, betrayal, embarrassment, shame we have been carrying around with us. These are
hard to shake off when we wake up.
3. Wish Dream – what we want or what we think we want. These are gifts to be enjoyed. P
60 These are about good feelings, can be about what we wish for others, Look beyond
the obvious wish and you can discover a deeper wish that speaks volumes about what
emotional and spiritual “missing pieces” we are really searching for.
4. Informational or Problem Solving Dream – when you wake up with the solution to a
problem. The advice “sleep on it” probably comes from individuals having these kinds of
dreams.
Two ways to receive information and solutions
1. Telepathy – direct passing of info from one person to another, p 74, Usually without
using any of the 5 senses we know about, meant to have an impact on the receiver and
is sometimes meant to be acted upon, the conscious mind is usually let in on this sooner
or later. P 74
2. Astral travel – we routinely travel astrally when we sleep. An average of 2 or 3 times a
week. Often at the core of our most vivid and memorable dreams. There is no limit to the
place and people we can visit, living and deceased, all around the globe go to the Other
Side to check up on people. If you feel you are flying without an airplane or wings, you
are astrally traveling. Travel dreams have a logical sequence of events (as waking
experiences do). Any dream you’re not only a part of but actually view yourself in isn’t a
dream, but an astral experience.
Remote viewing –practice, practice, practice. Do this with someone who can confirm what you
saw.
2
5. Astral Visits – miracle of reunions while we sleep. Visits and messages from loved ones.
Astral Visits within dreams – Visiting the past – past lives –visits to the hall of records.-
Astral catalepsy (sleep paralysis) Astral catalepsy does not occur without astral travel but astral
travel can occur with out astral catalepsy.
Symptoms of Astral Catalepsy-
1. paralysis
2. feeling of being pinned down
3. loud noises
4. an overwhelming vibration
5. sense of something or someone sitting on bedclothes
6. shortness of breath
7. appearance of strange lights
8. sensation of being touched. P 139
Scary but harmless. Unpleasant. Similar to the bends when decompressing too fast from deep
sea diving but astral catalepsy cannot hurt you. Ask that this not happen to you. “Dear God, if my
spirit travels tonight while I sleep, help it exit and reenter with divine, peaceful ease, without
awareness or interference of my easily frightened conscious mind.” P 141
Symbols of our dreams
Look at what those things mean to YOU.
Houses in your dreams – usually a house you have known in this life or a pervious life. If
symbolic it is about you and your feelings about eh physical, mental, emotional and spiritual
\issue your subconscious mind wants your conscious mind to be aware of.
Cars – can be past memories. If symbolic is about transition.
Storms, Tidal Waves, Tornadoes – indicate emotional turbulence, feelings of helplessness,
being overpowered and over whelmed, fear of the unexpected, and a general sense of life
spinning out of control no matter how hard we try to stop it.
Animals – not always totems. Look at what feeling that animal evokes in you. Transitions from
earth to the astral happen in the blink of an eye, no exceptions, and when we go Home (to the
astral), we’ll be greeted by every pet we’ve ever had in every one of our lifetimes. P.257 Animals
are more psychic than every of us will every be. They are vigilantly watching over us on and from
both sides, the physical and the astral.
Totems are animals we hand pick while on the other side to watch over us and protect us for the
3
lifetime we are about to undertake. Frequently appear in dreams, are often mistaken for threats,
animals who are chasing us, the truth is they are only running because we are, so that they don’t
leave our side.
Nudity and other Public Embarrassment – always release dreams.
Loosing hair or teeth – majority of time this dream is about regret about something we’ve said
or that we’ve talked too much. Can be fear of getting old or knowledge from your subconscious
that is letting you know that you need to go to the dentist or doctor. ONLY YOU KNOW.
Make up, Masks and Faceless Strangers – have something to do with identity, probably your
identity. We might feel a big difference between the face we wear in public and the person we
really are. We are faceless and easily ignored. Fear that we can’t trust our own judgment when it
comes to the people we let into our lives. Pay attention to the frequency of these dreams and the
extent they affect the rest of your lives. P. 172
Write your own definitions in your dream journal. Only you can interpret the things you
see, feel, and experience in your dreams.
Loved ones with Messages – bringing you comfort. Astral encounters, here to help.
People In our dreams – may symbolize emotional issues that we associate with that person.
Stop asking yourself “Who was that person?” and ask “What does that person represent to me?”
Strangers – not every stranger in your dreams is really a stranger. It is the essence of the person
you need to focus on, not the physical characteristics, and if the essence seems familiar….stay
focused until your heart tells you who the stranger really is.
A child’s dreams – children are closer to the astral. The imaginary friend is often someone from
the astral. They often travel astrally. The other side is part of their most recent past. Very young
children, less than 3 or 4, never include themselves in their dreams. They do not yet have a
sense of identity in this new lifetime. Children don’t tend to include strangers in their dreams until
6 years of age. P 211
Children’s nightmares almost always involve being chased. (seems to have something to do with
the child feeling potential danger around them)
Encourage children to share their dreams with you. To value their dreams. Ask and listen.
Lucid Dreaming and Daydreams: lucid means clear or rational. Lucid dreams can fall into any
category, with the difference that during lucid dreaming you kow you are dreaming,. You can
control these dreams if you wish.
Healing through Dreams: dreams promote healing and recovery. “Believe you can, believe you
can’t; either way, you’re right.” Henry Ford During dreams our subconscious mind can
help heal, help your health. Brain waves are more active when you are sleeping than when you
4
are awake. Prayer----Dear God, in these hours while my conscious mind and body are at rest,
please bless my dreams and my astral travels with affirmations of health, well being and strength
and infuse every cell of this body with a surge of your loving, compassionate, healing and help
me wake with certainty that as I slept, I was restored and renewed by your Divine grace. Thank
you. Amen. P 226
Daydreams – spontaneous creations of images or scenarios, most often concerning either
factual or fictionalized versions of the past, present or anticipated future events in our lives. Relive
treasured moments. Rehearse for upcoming situations. To play out a variety of options to a
problem, etc. Little mental opportunities to wander off for a few moment
The only significant difference between daydreams and meditation is that we don’t deliberately
induce daydreams. P 227
Daydream areas
1.Success
2.Love and romance
3. Heroism
4.Fantasy
5. Failure and crises
6. Spontaneous astral trips and remote viewing
Never pass up an opportunity to daydream and/or lucid dream. We can use it as an affirmation, a
connection to magical gifts, reminders of our brilliant, tireless, limitless eternal spirits, the sacred
essence of who we are.
Telepathy – direct silent communication of info, knowledge or feelings from one person’s mind to
another or from person to spirit or vice versa. Can be accomplished while awake or asleep.
Occurs often in problem solvig dreams and prophetic dreams.
