					        GARNER FIRE-RESCUE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT
Garner Fire-Rescue invites public safety teams from Greensboro to the coast to
come to the triangle and compete in our first ever softball tournament. This is a
great opportunity for fun and fellowship between fire, police, ems, and other
public safety agencies.

Entry Fee: $200 per team. Payment details are on registration form.

Where: Clayton Recreation Park – 715 Amelia Church Road, Clayton, NC

When: Saturday November 12th. This will be a one day only tournament and play
will begin at 9 AM.

Format: The tournament will be double elimination and follow USSSA rules.
Teams may be composed of (2) different public safety agencies and agencies may
have more than 1 team. Teams can be co-ed but will play by male rules. Teams
are limited to 16 players per team. Due to the capacity of our facility we are
limiting the tournament to the first 16 teams to register. Softballs are provided
by Garner Fire-Rescue. Other activities that day include a raffle and home run
derby with cash prizes.

There will be a coaches meeting to go over tournament rules and draw the
brackets on Friday November 4th at Garner Station #1. This meeting is also the
deadline to turn in entry fees.
