    7000 patients

    10 rural clinics being planned
    Tuesday is children’s day             Rotary District 7080:
    50% of orphans are HIV positive
    80% will be dead in 4 years
    fairly desperate situation            Rotary International:
      e.g. in Swaziland 50% of children
      are orphans
    Bracelet of Hope Campaign –
      goal of $10 per Canadian; wishes
      that Rotary Canada could
      be involved as this provides
      funds to fight HIV and poverty as
      well as finds employment for
      hundreds of surviving residents in
      Southern Africa. This campaign
      is jointly managed by the Masai
      for Africa Campaign as well as
      the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal.

President Barb thanked Dr. Zadjlik and
presented her with a cheque for $500
from the club representing $10 x 50
