Web Developer - 2010
Client: ABC Computers
The client desired a complete redesign of their current website using Joomla CMS. My main
responsibility was to use PHP and JavaScript along with CSS to custom fit the template to their
needs. In addition, I modified an image display component to show a random image on each page
visited with PHP.
Web Developer - 2010
Client: The Pointer Online
The client was an online school newspaper and wanted a complete redesign of their current
website. My responsibility was to add a little interactivity to the site with Flash. I delivered an
Interactive News Feed and two Video Players. The News Feed is vertical scrolling boxes of text that
link to the page that the full news story is on. It is fed information entirely from XML that is updated
by the client.
PROJECTS
Google Translate AIR Application - 2010
Class Final Project
An Adobe AIR application that allows users to enter text in any supported language and have it
translated and displayed in real time in the language of their choice. In addition, users may store
their favorite translations to a SQLite database located on their machine. It also allows the user to
search through their saved translations with real time sorting. For example, if the letter “h” is
typed, all of the translations beginning with “h” will appear. This application was developed in Flex
and exported for AIR, and utilizes SQLite database technology.
Casual Game - 2010
Class Project For School Website
For this project, I was assigned to create a casual game to help recruit incoming freshman to the
major. It is a short game that was designed to last only 2-4 minutes. I worked with two classmates
for this project, but I was responsible for the coding and most of the artwork. The game took about
ten days to build and launch after the planning phase.
