New kids, new schools, booby trap champions, just like Oscar Rebedy, the

dark hair, paper white skin, and 1 meter and a half 8th grader. Oscar already

finished planning for his first day’s booby trap in Heinten middle school.

He lay in his bed, and looked at the messy desk, to the grey erasers which

has been covered in a million little holes that were poked, to the 10 broken pencils,

to the chalk board. On the chalkboard lay many chalk lines. Here there,

everywhere!! Numbers, letters, graphs, you name it!! It looked similar like

Einstein’s board.

Oscar was really smart, but not at school, only booby traps, nothing else!

He had a wild imagination too, but his mom didn’t know about how wild it was, or

how wild Oscar was himself. He stood up from his bed and walked straight to his

chalk board and said, “Here comes a booby trap Heinten middle school. Hope

you’re NOT ready!! He stared at the chalk board for about 15 minutes, until his

mom called out with a sharp voice like a witch.

“Oscar!! Time for dinner! Get down here!”

He went running down his wooden carved stairs.

Oscar had his WORST dinner ever. He just couldn’t stand broccoli, mashed

potatoes, and a glass of fresh orange juice.

Had a lot of money his parents didn’t know about. He earned that by selling

cookies that his dad bought and that his mom wanted to throw away because some

cookies have sugar, and sugar gives you cavities. (His dad bought it in a business

trip because he always goes on business trips) He sold them in his neighborhood

which has over 200 houses, he had 200 packets of 10, and each packet he sold was

5 USD, so he ended up earning about 750 USD.

He loved to spend his money on tricks.

The next morning, he got out of the house at 7:00 so he had enough time to

go to the almost everything store. It was about across his street. Oscar one day

rented a small drill that could go through a carpet and a floor. He also bought a

carpet that looked just like the carpet in the school. (He saw it in the open house)

The time now was at 7:15, teachers didn’t get there until 8:00, and school

started at 9:00, he had just about the right time to set up his booby trap.

He ran two blocks until he saw the school. He looked up and shouted softly,

“Here I come, Heinten Middle School!!” He quickly climbed the fence and ran

inside the school. Luckily, all the doors were unlocked.

‘Ring!!’ Rang the bell at 8:59 am, it was time for school at Heinten, well, it

would be in one minute.

First subject: Advisory, second subject: Social Studies.

It happens that even though its Oscar’s first day, it was still perfect timing,

because today, in Social Studies class, others were sharing presentations……

“Mr. Grensing, please come up and share with us your presentation

about…um… err… what ever you are doing your presentation about…” Mr.

Rodger sounded confused as he talked.

“Today I will share a presentation with you about North

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!”

“Oh my goodness!! Alex Grensing just fell down a 2 meter hole!! Thank

god that there were pillows down there so he doesn’t break his spine and get

paralyzed!! Thank god….”

The social studies teacher reported the news immediately to the principal.

“Students! This is your principal. It happens that this school might have a

lot of holes in the ground; it wouldn’t be save for you Middle School Pre-teens

and teenagers to be here. School, I announce, is dismissed!”

Everyone cheered and wailed as they stood up from their desks and ran

home to play, or do what ever they wanted to do.

Oscar got home and found his mom on her DELL laptop. “Why are you

home so early?” asked his mom suspiciously.

“School was dismissed early.” Oscar immediately could tell that his mom

didn’t find a job yet. “Um…………I completely forgot what I was going to say.”

“ok” replied his mom and got back to work on her DELL laptop.

“Oh yeah!! Why are YOU so early home??”

“ Um…I couldn’t really...um… I couldn’t…”

“Find a job?” Oscar answered his own question.

“Yes! Exactly!”

Oscar went to his room upstairs and started planning for his second booby

trap for his second day in Heinten Middle School. It took 2 minutes to erase the

chalk board, plus, about 2 hour and a half for planning. By the next morning, he

had everything ready. Materials, positions, plans, and he even made a small

version of where he will locate the booby traps.

He, again, got out of the house about at 7:00 am, so he had around 1 hour,

again, to set up everything, He climbed up the fence of the school and started.

Oscar found the locker without a lock that he planned in his planning time.

He searched in his bag pack, to get the fake spider and his white, thin string. After

a few seconds, he finally found it. He tied the string to the spider and then taped

the string to the ceiling of the locker. He rolled up the spider around the string and

made sure that as soon as someone opens it, it will fall down and expose itself to

the locker’s owner. Sneaking, walking, and thinking, Oscar Rebedy did the same

thing to about 40 more lockers, until the teachers started getting there. He ran to

the back door of the school that was located in the kitchen and ran back home.

At 9:00 the bell rang. Everyone opened their lockers about at the same time.

“Ah!! Oh my god!! There is a spider in my locker!!!......Oh…… Right…It’s fake.”

Smiled Jenny. She was almost the most popular in late middle school. “Although I

hate to admit, it looks pretty real.” The scream of the 8th, 7th, and 6th graders with

“spiders” in their lockers caused a domino effect on the people who saw it with

their own, two, eyes.

“Yes!!” Muttered Oscar under his breath. “Spider in locker ‘mission’

complete!”

Everything else that day was pretty boring. Specially science. The most

boring subject. Ms. Gadget kept on talking about why she is a science teacher

because of her last name and why her first name, Jennifer, was not so pleasant for

her because it had nothing to do with science, and blah, blah, blah…

He was again happy with his success on his second day in Heinten Middle

school, so he started thinking of what he was going to do next, and since it was

only 2 more days of school until the first quarter of school finished because of

course, he did start school in Heinten late. But for sure he would be here on the

first day of school on the second quarter. Anyway. He finished planning about at 6

pm, just in time for dinner.

He sneaked from the main hallway to the girls bathroom, just incase a

teacher came early or one of the janitors were already there. Once he saw nobody

was here but him, he ran into the girls bathroom.

By the sink, lay 4 green bars of soap. He got to the 1st bar of soap, and

covered it with 1cm deep of purple paint. He worked on the other 3 bars and as

soon as the first one dried up, he covered it with green for about 3 mm deep, until

it looked similar to the regular bars of soap. He covered the other 3 soaps as well.

They all ended up looking like the regular soap. And he also used pretty much all

the paint, so he only had to return home, and put the buckets away.

He just couldn’t wait until after 5th period, when most of the girls went to

the bathroom to wash their hands.
