Senate Order on Departmental and Agency Contracts Listing Relating to the Period 1 July 2010 - 30 June 2011
Pursuant to the Senate Order for Departmental and Agency Contracts (as amended), the following table sets out contracts entered into by Old Parliament House that provide for a consideration to the value of $100 000 or more and which:
(a) have not been fully performed, or
(b) have been entered into during the 12 months prior to 30 June 2011.
Most of the contracts listed below only contain confidentiality provisions of a general nature that are designed to protect the 'confidential information' of the parties that may be obtained or generated in carrying out the contracts. The reasons for such clauses include: (a) ordinary commercial prudence that requires protections of trade secrets, proprietary information and the alike,
and (b) protection of other Commonwealth material and personal information.
Columns (f) and (g) of the table relate to specific contract schedules or clauses inserted into the standard form contract that require the parties to maintain confidentiality of any of the contractual provisions. Note that columns (f) and (g) do not relate to confidentiality provisions of a general nature discussed above.
