time VP, HR services and large national organizations for OD and compensation.

 Supported Kimberly-Clark’s North Atlantic Consumer Products in 2007/2008 in organizational

effectiveness and teambuilding working with the Group President and senior leadership team

 Designed and implemented recruiting, selection, training, and supervisory program for a national call center

organization reducing turnover and increasing revenue per employee

 Revamped or established HR departments for organizations throughout the Atlanta area. Clients

represented a cross section of the manufacturing, education, non-profit, and high tech verticals.



La-Z-Boy Incorporated – Monroe, Michigan 2001 – 2002

CORPORATE VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

Reported to the President and CEO with responsibility for human resources for a market leader in furniture

manufacturing and retail distribution. Revenues were $2.2 billion with fifteen (15) business units and 18,000

employees worldwide.

 Supported development of first ever integrated corporate strategic plan to achieve a 10% or greater

operating profit and an organic growth rate 50% or greater than industry.

 Revamped executive compensation and benefits including annual bonus plan, long term incentive plan and

the addition of a deferred compensation plan.

 Developed succession planning process and promoted HR best practices.



PSINet Consulting Solutions (Formerly Metamor Worldwide) - Alpharetta, GA 2000 - 2001

VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES

Reported to the President and was responsible for human resources for a market leader in the Information

Technology Consulting. Revenues were $100 million with 500 consultants across 5 major sites.

 Supported consolidation of seven consulting companies in the SAP, Oracle, BaaN and Knowledge

Solutions space in to one overall consulting organization focused on business solutions in ERP, CRM, SCM

and e-Commerce.

 Implemented unified Human Resources Development Process (HRDP), recruiting and compensation

programs.

M.A. Hanna Color and Hanna Engineered Materials – Suwanee, Georgia 1996 - 2000

DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES

Reported to the President and was responsible for human resources for a world leader in plastics compounding.

Revenues were $400 million with 1,500 employees across 20+ major sites.

 Supported the consolidation of 20+ independently operating businesses into one overall integrated company

with a common leadership team and organization structure.

 Developed and implemented a modern human resources infrastructure replacing legacy systems and

proliferating best practices

 Demonstrated a high level of leadership with senior management in driving a broad range of business

initiatives including plant and lab consolidations, and sales and product strategies.



Monarch Marking Systems (Formerly Pitney Bowes Company) – Dayton, Ohio 1994 – 1996

Reported to the President and was responsible for human resources for a world leader in tag and label supplies and

equipment. Revenues were $300 million with 2,500 employees worldwide.

 Worked as a member of the divestiture team, designed a 25% reduction in SG&A costs saving $15 million

and making Monarch an attractive acquisition candidate.

 Championed diversity both in terms of minority/female representation and individual and team

development.

 Stabilized employment and reduced costs by decreasing salaried turnover from an annual rate of 23% to

10%.

 Brought compensation costs under control and achieved internal equity by implementing an effective

market-based compensation system.

 Aggressively managed benefits costs, reducing waste and inefficiencies through program design and vendor

selection. Revamped pension, 401(k), and disability plans. Added executive retention benefits such as

SERP and deferred pay plans.
