Net G Reflection

The first net g we have done in E-com 250 is E commerce Security. This net g

contain four sections the first one is about Security Firewalls, the second one is

information encryption, third one is Authentication and Authorization and the forth

one is Ecommerce Payments security.



In first section we learned about assessing your ecommerce security firewalls and

their implementation within an e commerce environment. This unit helped me to

protect a network of the internet. Also, I know more about the personal firewall

and a dynamitic firewall. Moreover I learned the types of firewall.



In the second unit, now I know the information of Encryption. Also I examined

different encryption techniques and encryption services. Moreover, now I know

encryption techniques with their definition. Also, now I know who provide the key

encryption in PGP. In addition I learned the features of SSL.



The third unit, I learned about the role of personal and certificate based

authentication in e commerce. Also, I learned about different types of

authentication techniques available. Moreover, I learned what the benefits are of

SSO techniques. Also, now I know the steps involved in obtaining a server

certificate.



In the fourth unit which is Ecommerce Payments security I learned about

electronic cash, smart cards, credit and debit cards, Secure Electronic Transaction

and internet keyed payment protocols. Moreover, I learned some more interesting

information which is the features of electronic cash, the main role of credit and

debit card, the used of smart card and the functions of (IKP).

The second net g we have done is about Building an E- commerce Business

Case. There are four sections in this net g the first one is Building online

Revenues, the second one is Sales and Services, the third one is Online Customer

Relationships and the fourth one The Virtual Value Chain.



In first section I leaned all the online business with their descriptions for example

now I know the definition of Virtual communities, Value chain service provider,

Value chain integrator, information brokers, collaboration platforms, E mail, E

shop etc ….



Also, now I know the features of an online business plan and the features are E

commerce value propositions and business description, E commerce business

objectives and goals and Executive summary. Moreover now I know the formula

assists in forming a business case for an effective B2B transaction model which is

Electronic Commerce ROA= (Revenues – Expenses)/ Assets.



In additions I learned more about the marking mix and the two marking mix that

are used to create an online marking mix and they are product and process.

Moreover, now I know the scenario of a successful online business sales campaign

and that is the business that uses real time analysis of online buying profiles to

generate targeted customer specific campaigns. In the second section which about

the Sales and Services I learned many things to. For example, I learned the

customer service features which are invoicing information, Fulfillment, customer

account processing and order confirmation, and moreover I know the explanation

of each one.



The third section is about Online Customer Relationships. This section is explained

the techniques of online relationship marketing and the techniques are coupons,

membership discounts and online redemption. Also, it’s talks about the most

important factor to consider when building an online brand and the factor is to

develop customer awareness and trust of your brand. The fourth section is talking

about The Virtual Value Chain. This section is showing the five value adding steps

needed to integrate a value matrix. Also, I leaned the advantages of global

competitive expected an enterprise to gain from its e- commerce activities.
