Prosperity
Prosperity is defined by dictionary.com as a successful, flourishing, or thriving condition, especially in
financial respects; good fortune.
In General
Most of us were raised with the notion that we must earn prosperity. Or if something is given to us, then there must
be a price to pay. A common misconception is that we must work hard to earn what we receive. But in reality, we
need only to be in the energy flow of giving and receiving to be prosperous and happy. Of course, there are times
when we are required to work harder than normal. And we cannot be lazy, for we need to be in the flow of energy
where things happen. Everything is connected through the Unified Field that sustains them, including intentions and
ideas. This Universal energy flows through our lives, and as we are connected and part of it, we do influence and
manifest as we flow within it. We can choose to manifest good, bad, or somewhere in between. The most important
lesson to learn about prosperity is that the source comes from the Unified Field. People are the channels that bring
prosperity to us, but the Universe provides the source. Of the Universal Laws, the Law of Giving and Receiving states
that what you give in attitude, intention, and energy frequency will return to you in like measure and like kind.
It can be hard to let go and trust in the Universe sometimes. We may feel we put ourselves at risk. The Ego will try to
tell you to keep all that you have to yourself with justification that you need to protect and guard it, that only you
deserve it because you earned it for yourself. And it does not mean that you go out and give away everything you
have to everyone, unless you are truly guided to do so. To trust in the Unified Field means knowing that you will be
rewarded in like measure to the love in your heart. The Universe has a way of meeting our needs through the loving
flow of energy that moves between us. However, in like manner, the Universe will bring the opposite if you give the
same. Raise your awareness of how you are in the moment. Don’t judge, but forgive, both yourself and others.
In Yourself
Prosperity is determined by how you give and how you receive, not what you give and receive. Truth is in the
intention. If you take from others, then others will take from you. If you struggle to receive, you will struggle to give.
If you share with the Universe, it will share with you. If you care for other’s needs, then your needs will be cared for
by others. A common gift is money, but you may exchange services, your time, visitation, teaching, and more.
There should be no judgement of yourself or those you give to, and you should recognize and receive prosperity with
gratefulness. Pay attention to your intention however. Some people give to their need to feel good about their selves,
instead of the intention to help others. In this way, according to the Law of Giving and Receiving, if you create yourself
as the source to fulfil someone’s need, you will create a need for yourself for someone to become your source. Give
as an investment to a request. Don’t buy a fundraiser item for the item; buy it to support the fundraiser. Intention is
a powerful energy in the Universe. Personal prosperity is passive in that you don’t seek it. It simply comes to you.
In Society
The Law of Giving and Receiving often travels through many in its path. In other words, what you give may exchange
many hands before it reaches its destination, and vice-versa. So it’s best not to try to figure it out or question it. A gift
given with love will always find its intended path. Trust the Unified Field to handle it. Give with love, receive with
gratitude, and leave the rest to the Universal energy, which is all things, to distribute itself according to attention and
intention. Follow your guidance. The transfer of loving gifts through the Unified Field affects everyone positively.
In Business
In business, you have to create a balance of loving support and inspiration, with discipline and accountability.
Prosperity in business is most successful when everyone collaborates together, supports each other, encourages each
other, and ultimately prospers together. Support your staff at work. Encourage your staff to support each other and
the company. Choose wisely with both managers and workers. Support your leaders and managers. Spread this
leadership beyond the walls of your business, products, and services; and out into the community. Help your
community and/or industry for their growth, without expectation of return. This type of helping the Universe is more
rare in business than not, which is unfortunate. Create prosperity with your business, not only to your business.
