Twenty-Second Annual Graduate Business Student Competition T wo- to-five-member student teams (with two-to-three members preferred) from graduate business programs in North Carolina's public and private colleges will be assigned as management consultants by the Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) to local companies. They will be expected to identify and analyze problems confronting the company and recommend solutions to management. Through their case report and oral presentation, each team's work will be evaluated. The three best efforts will receive cash awards. T IMING Case assignments and brief orientation by 5 January 2009 Management consulting/case work completed by 27 March 2009 Written case reports 1 April 2009 and case documentation logs due Oral presentations 7-8 April 2009 Awards presentation banquet Friday, 24 April 2009 E FFORT It is estimated that each team member will commit 100 to 120 hours of time to the case. A 10-15 page report and oral case presentation are required.
