Henry Ford Hospital is a 903-bed tertiary care hospital, education and research
complex located in Detroit’s New Center area. The hospital is a multi-organ
transplantation center and Level 1 trauma center. Henry Ford Hospital is listed in
“Best Hospitals in America” (Visible Ink Press). Its doctors are routinely named
among America's best.
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital – Warren Campus, a 203-bed facility in Warren, is
one of the major osteopathic health care providers in Michigan. It is the oldest
osteopathic training hospital in the state and offers a full range of clinical services,
including general medicine, surgery, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation,
ambulatory surgery, hospice care and 24-hour emergency care.
Henry Ford Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms provides inpatient and
outpatient physical rehabilitation and mental health services. It is a primary
destination for outpatient services that include an ambulatory surgery center, a
Women’s Diagnostic Center, radiation oncology for cancer care, infusion services,
cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation programs, a Wound Care Center, a Sleep
Disorders Center and 24-hour emergency care with an emphasis on rapid
treatment of minor emergencies not requiring hospitalization.
Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is a 344-bed facility serving the western Wayne
County and Downriver communities in Michigan. It offers a full range of clinical
services, including general medicine, surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, cardiac care,
physical medicine and rehabilitation, ambulatory surgery, inpatient and outpatient
behavioral services, hospice care and 24-hour emergency care.
Henry Ford Behavioral Services includes the Henry Ford Department of
Psychiatry; Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital (100 beds) in Ferndale, offering
inpatient care for children and adults experiencing acute episodes of mental illness
and day hospital care; and Kingswood Hospital, which offers the full range of
treatment for behavioral health, from depression and dual diagnosis to more
serious psychiatric disorders. Henry Ford also has the nationally recognized
Maplegrove Center (50 beds) in West Bloomfield offering residential and
outpatient chemical dependency treatment for adults and adolescents.
Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is a 435-bed hospital that provides comprehensive,
acute care. Specialty services include a Heart & Vascular Institute, a cancer care
center, and a birthing center with 18 labor, deliver, recovery and postpartum
suites. The hospital also has a 42-bed inpatient rehabilitation program, an
ambulatory and minimally invasive surgery center, and leading diagnostic
imaging.
