Listers,
I am in regular communication with Larry Berger from Kent, Ohio and
recieved a package of Erie photos from him yesterday. Along with his his
usual letter he sent me a list of Erie freight equipment that had their
diamonds changed from white to yellow and soon after, back to white. I know
that Athearn or MDC (don't remember which) produced that Erie o.o.s three
bay hopper with a yellow Erie diamond on the sides. I've heard many a
lament that ALL of Erie's freight equipment was given a white diamond and
the yellow was found on steam and diesel locos, and a few other pieces.
Does anyone have any info on this? It seems that this was something that
was short lived, and not repeated. The list is as follows:

car type #'s and date to changed to
                      yellow white
