REQUIREMENTS FOR USAFA AND CFA CHAMPIONSHIPS
EFFECTIVE: All championships taking place after January 1, 2007

New England Championship
Pacific Coast Championship
Gulf Coast Championship
North American Masters Championship
Any other championship sanctioned by USAFA or CFA
REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO ALL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
USAFA or CFA will be the Organizing Authority.
Must use Standard NOR, Entry Form and Sailing Instructions. Any deviations must be
approved by USAFA or CFA.
Results must be submitted to USAFA and CFA within twenty-four hours of event
Posting of results and photos on host club’s website is recommended.
Race management procedures must comply with USAFA and CFA standards (to be
Protest committee must be approved by USAFA or CFA.
USAFA and CFA will provide up-to-date membership list.
Host club to assure membership in USAFA or CFA and collect membership fees as
required. Fees are to be transmitted to USAFA and CFA.
Host club must comply with USAFA and CFA requirements for measurement
REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP:
An International Jury must be appointed (which must be approved by USAFA and CFA).
USAFA and CFA will work with host club if desired to identify members so as to
minimize cost to host club.
On-the-water enforcement of Rule 42 is recommended.
REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO ALL OTHER CHAMPIONSHIPS USED FOR ISAF
If the championship is used for ISAF ranking, the Chairman of the protest committee
must be an ISAF International Judge. For 2007, the following events (plus the North
Americans) have been submitted for ISAF ranking:
US Nationals (Grade 2)
Canadian Nationals (Grade 2)
Eastern Championship (Grade 2)
Pacific Coast Championship (Grade 2)
