Product Safety Bureau has pertaining
to these smoke detectors starting from
the earliest dates in 1987 through to
1990. Any information on the
subject of safety, product recalls or product
testing would be especially helpful,
but all of Health Canada's information
on BRK smoke detectors in that time
period is what CTV would like to have.
I originally spoke to the Health
Canada public relations office when I
inquired about the former Department
of Consumer and Commercial Affairs.
They put me through to Greg Whalen -
sp? at Health Cananda who, in turn, put
me through to Andy Teliszewsky when I
explained what information I was
specifically looking for. Andy
Teliszewsky suggested I phone Mike Gvildys
at the Product Safety Bureau in
Toronto. Apparently he had a number of files
