Denis Blackham

Denis Blackham (born 1952) began his audio mastering tha Fox, Death in June, Buzzcocks, Slade, Cliff Richard,

work in 1969. He started at IBC Studios in London and lat- Curve, Ride, Stiff Little Fingers, Bing Crosby, T. Rex, Jean

er worked for Polygram, RCA, The Master Room, Nimbus Michel Jarre, Uriah Heep, Rezillos, Jimi Hendrix, Vange-

Records, Tape One and Porky’s. In 1996 he set up his own lis, among many others.[1]

studio at his home in Surrey England and when he moved

to the Isle of Skye in 2002, he changed the name of his

studio to Skye Mastering.
