It's Easy.
1. Enable MST
2. Make test calls
3. Disable MST
4. Using ASA on the advance tab click report. in the command window type list mst.
5. Click the radio button for export screen capture to file. Then remember where you put the file. I usually put on the
desktop.
6. Launch the MST Decoder. Click the File icon and but the file name in from step 5.
A word of caution The program is VERY slow.
The ability to view a translation of MST is already in your PBX.
Do the following..
CHA MST.
Set your fields for the data you want to capture, along with TRACE ANAYZER field to "Y" and I think LOG
MST "Y"
Enable MST
Do your testing
DISABLE MST
Login to s8700.
Choose "Launch Maintenance Web Interface"
Choose System Logs
Select "Communication Manager's interpreted Message Tracer(MTA)"
Select date Range
Enter appropiate "Number of Lines:" to view
Click "Veiw Logs"
