Wild Animals Table
For this activity, you will be searching the National Geographic website for specific
information about different animals.
Follow these directions:
1. Open a new Word Document.
2. Change the page orientation to landscape.
3. Type: Wild Animals. Center the text, change it to size 14 and bold it.
4. Draw a table that takes up most of the page.
5. Make 21 rows and 5 columns. Make sure the rows are spaced equally high.
6. Type the following headings in the top row: Name, Type, Diet, Average Life Span, and
Weight. Bold these titles
Your table should look similar to this:

7. Go to the following website: http://animals.nationalgeographic.com/animals
8. Look for 20 different animals, at least one from each of the different groups:
Amphibians, Birds, Bugs, Fish, Invertebrates, Mammals, and Reptiles.
9. Put the information for each animal into the table.
10. If the animal profile does not provide a certain bit of information, skip that heading.
11. Save this on your server as animaltable.doc
