NEW BUSINESS
We lost Kevin Lybrand July 4th. The board held a phone conference and decided to give
Kevin’s family 100$ from the mudbog to help with any immediate expenses. We
discussed last month about an event at the river in July with Jody and David to chair and
after discussion it was decided to have this as a benefit for Kevin and a memorial for club
members that we have lost and to hold the event Labor day weekend so people can have
time to work on their trucks.
Jennifer told the club of the National Park Service Scoping Events and that we all need to
attend the meeting 7-10 at the Ambassador Motel on I-40 from 6-8pm. A write-up about
this was in the Amarillo Globe News Sunday 7-6-08.
We picked Jorge’s on 45th and Bell as our wine and dine spot for August. We will meet
at 7pm on the 8th.
Tom made mention of the Tri-State Fair Parade coming up and that he would like the
club to participate. The club made oral agreement and the board made Tom Chairman for
this event. He will present the info to us at the next meeting.
There not being any further new business:
Brandy made motion to close the meeting; Tom seconded and motion carried.
President David Blakely adjourned the meeting. No raffle was held. Donations for
Kevin’s family were collected.
