Homework Project
Your task is to design and produce a creative and original game to practise the language that
you have covered in the last unit. This can be using ICT such as designing a ‘Who wants to be a
millionaire’ game or alternatively it can be a board game such as Snakes and Ladders. Your
project must include the following information:
1. Key language to be practised.
2. Key grammar to be practised.
3. Rules of the game.
4. The creative and original game itself.
Prizes will be awarded at the end of June.
Year 8H and 8F Spanish project
Your task is to produce a project based on Spanish culture. You can choose to cover at least
three topics from the following themes:
Food and Drink
Famous Spanish cities
Tradition of bullfighting
Festivals and traditions
Tradition of flamenco dancing
Spanish weather
Football in Spain
Prizes will be awarded at the end of April.
Year 7 Advanced groups
German project
Your task is to produce a beginner’s guide to German for current Year 6 students. You must
cover at least six of the language areas listed below as well as offer tips and advice on how to
learn vocabulary and understand grammar. You must also design exercises to allow them to
practise the language. Be creative! Design a famous character who will guide them through the
first few lessons! The best guides will be sent to our feeder primary schools to help them
prepare for German in Year 7!
