• Better then expected production
• Additional flow lines needed to be installed and existing
Gas manifolds needed to be extended.

Client requirements:
• No shutdown during installation of deck extension and
pipe spools
• Installation window small
• No work barge/boat available for any rework
• Especially the deck extension had to fit. No room for any
mismatch.

• 3D Laser Scan Survey and 3D Modelling of effected
areas (Manifolds, Wellheads, Water Injection, Drain
Vessel & Structure)
Deliverables:
• Registered Point Cloud
• Semi Intelligent PDMS Model
• Clash Report (New design verified against existing
conditions)

Coordination:
• Provide appointed Design Consultant with 3D As-Built
PDMS Model. (Engineering PDMS Model was available)
• Verify and resolve any clashes between 3D As-Built
PDMS Model and Design consultant’s new design.

Deck extension by appointed Fabricator.
• Dimensional verification of Fabricated critical pipe

• 3D Laser Scan Survey - 5 days (3 days of scanning, about 60 scans)
• 3D Modeling in Cyclone - 3 weeks
• Transfer to PDMS and Labelling of objects – 3 days
• Clash Check – 2 days (35 clashes/misalignments)
Completed within 6 weeks as per Schedule

Fabricated Deck extention and Pipe Spools:
• Initial Dimensional Survey of Deck extension - 1 day survey
(25mm offset was measured against existing conditions)
• Resurvey of Deck extension after 25mm correction – 1 day
• Dimensional Survey of critical pipe spools – 1 day
Completed inclusive of Resurvey within 1 week
