Pregnant pop star Lily Allen enjoyed a leisurely lunch yesterday with
boyfriend
Sam Cooper.
After struggling with bad morning sickness this week, the 25-year-old
managed to
perk up for a romantic lunch in a central London cafe.
Attentive boyfriend Sam, 32, lavished attention on the mum-to-be, hugging
and
kissing her as they enjoyed an afternoon stroll.

The singer, who announced her pregnancy less than two weeks ago, was
showing no
hint of a baby bump under the loose grey dress.
Lily admitted this week she had been suffering from morning sickness, as
well as
pain in her wisdom teeth.
She wrote on her Twitter page on Tuesday: 'Sorry, I am being grumpy
today.
Morning sickness, toothache, tiredness and gossip commentators trying to
stir up
s**t don't mix very well.'
And on Wednesday: 'Car sick, morning sick, sick sick sick sick.'

sickness
Lily has made no secret of her wish to become a mother, saying in May she
hoped
to be pregnant by the end of the year.
She said at the time: ‘I’d want to be really hands-on for the first two
or
three years of having a little one. I don’t want to leave them.’
And in an interview with Elle magazine in July, Lily said she was
planning to
take a five-year break from the music industry to concentrate on 'higher
priorities' such as having children.
She said: 'I don’t think I’m that young to have a baby. My mother had me
when she was 23.'
Stepping back: Lily performed one of her last gigs at the Big Chill
festival on
Sunday as she prepares to take a long break from the music industry
Lily, who suffered a miscarriage in 2008 when she was dating Chemical
Brothers
star Ed Simons, added that having a family would give her something ‘more
solid, something that exists, that makes me feel more grounded’.
She explained: 'It’s difficult as a woman who wants a family. Kids take
up
your whole life, particularly in the first two or three years.
'So it wouldn’t be very responsible of me to commit to doing a world tour
if I
had a baby.’
As well as preparing for motherhood, Lily has also set up her own vintage
clothing line and plans to open up a boutique in London with her half-
sister
Sarah Owen.
