Congo at the Olympic Games Congo,
The Republic of the Congo, competing as Congo first par-
ticipated at the Olympic Games in 1964, and has sent ath-
letes to compete in most Summer Olympic Games since
then. Congo missed the 1968 Games and boycotted the
1976 Games along with most other African nations. Con-
go has never participated in the Winter Olympic Games.
As of 2010, no athlete from Congo has ever won an
Olympic medal.
The National Olympic Committee for the Congo was
Flag of the Republic of the Congo – Flag bearers created in 1964 and recognized by the International
Olympic Committee that same year.
