1 TRADEX DIRECT WEBSITE
By logging on to www.tradex.com and
registering their details* under the ‘my
policy’ section.
Once they have registered for the
service they will be able to update the
MID via the ‘Update your MID’ section.
2 SMS – TEXT FACILITY

What is Trade Check?
Trade Check is a service whereby policyholders can add and remove vehicles
from their motor policy simply by sending a text.
How does it work?
Using their registered mobile telephone, they simply text the instructions shown
below. As their mobile telephone number is exclusively registered to their Motor
Trade Policy, identification is instant and their policy is updated accordingly. For
details on how to register, see overleaf.

Will I receive a receipt?
You will receive a text confirmation that your request was successful.
If there is no response please contact us.
Could my request fail?
If your request could not be processed you will receive a notification text message.
A request typically fails if the vehicle number is invalid, could not be found on the
DVLA database, the DVLA server is busy or if the request could not be recognised.
If you receive an error message please check your request and try again.
If the problem persists please contact the Trade Check department

How can they register?
The Trade Check service is available FREE to all Tradex Policy Holders.
They can register in one of the following ways:
I Visit www.tradex.com and download the registration form and
either post to the address shown overleaf or e-mail the form to
tradecheck@tradex.com
I Call 0845 373 1309 with their policy number and the mobile number
they wish to register for the service.
I Write to the address shown overleaf quoting their policy number and
the mobile number they wish to register for the service.
