For this role you will: a) illustrate a part of the assigned reading and explain why you
think it is relevant and important to share with your group b) you may also choose to
illustrate the overall feeling that you get from the entire assigned reading. (e.g. In this set
of pages, the theme seemed to be dishonesty. I have chosen to create a collage on the
theme of dishonesty…) Choose one or the other.
In designing your “illustration” consider what the author’s message is. What does the
author want to say to the reader? Why is this important? Is there something about the
passage that you connect with personally? Can you apply it to your own experiences?
You may illustrate your thoughts by:

Diorama
Your illustration should be colourful. A collection of clipart printed on to a page will not
be considered sufficiently creative unless you have somehow added to it using texture,
other media, etc.
You will share your illustration with your group in a presentation of approximately 2
minutes. Be prepared to answer the group’s questions to support your thoughts.
