Catalis’ subsidiary Testronic Labs accredited as an Independent Test Lab for
Wireless USB products
Eindhoven, July 01, 2008 - Catalis SE, worldwide provider of digital content for the
film, games and telecom industry, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary Testronic
Labs was granted the accreditation as an Independent Test Lab for testing and
certification of Wireless USB products by The USB Implementers Forum.
The accreditation, which enables Testronic Labs to provide compliance testing and
certification services for W-USB devices, allows manufacturers to market products based
on the Wireless USB 1.0 Specification that are proven to interoperate with existing
certified products. Product testing is available for native device silicon, Host Wire Adapter
(HWA) and Device Wire Adapter (DWA) end products as well as native host (WHCI) and
device end products. When a product has achieved Wireless USB certification, it can bear
the Wireless USB logo on the product and packaging, signifying to the consumer that the
product has been tested and proven to interoperate with other certified W-USB products.
