These days each and every of
my art work is created on a
computer and it is therefore
digital ”from birth”.
The Nightingale So are the Hans Christian Andersen
Festival Play logos 2004 to 2005.
Before 2004 another technique was
used. An original cut in silk screen
printed material was made manually.
Recently I drew a digital version on
computer of “The Nightingale” and
“The Shepardess and the Chimney
Sweep” from respectively 2003
and 2002.
The Shepardess and the Chimney Sweep

Yes.
US-Postal Stamps.
My crazy IT-nerd friends in Palo-Alto can help us.
We will use the Manufacturing on Demand site Zazzle.com
What is MANUFACTURING ON DEMAND?
US-Postal stamps Exercise Task
Notice!!!!
What you see on the internet is virtual
products. They do not exist, yet.
That is:
The products you see on the Internet
are manufactured AFTER you have ordered
and paid them with your credit card.
You can order one or you can order 1000.
You will have an account accordingly.
We call this concept: ”MANUFACTURING ON DEMAND” – or “MOD”.
It is a new concept that eventually will turn
upside down the whole global marketplace.
.
Today – Monday 7 September 2009 – I saw how you use MOD together
with 3D Printers. You can design your own glasses, toys, toothbrushes
etc. etc. and have them printed in 3D.
That’s really something you have to observe.
In 5 years or so I believe MOD web sites can offer 3D printing.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The Nightingale" (Danish: Nattergalen) is a
fairy tale by Danish poet and author Hans
Christian Andersen about an emperor who
prefers the tinkling of a bejeweled music box
to the song of a nightingale. When the
Emperor is near death, the nightingale's
song restores his health. Well received upon
its initial publication in Copenhagen,
Denmark in 1843, the tale is believed to
have been inspired by the author's
unrequited love for opera singer and fellow
Scandinavian, Jenny Lind. who preferred a
platonic relationship with the poet. For one
evaluator, "The Nightingale" expresses the
theme of the artificial versus the authentic.
The story has been adapted to opera, ballet,
musical play, television drama and animated
film.

The motif of the Nightingale is by Asbjorn
Lonvig, who is asked every year to make
the logo to the Hans Christian Andersen
Festival Plays in The Funen Village as the
fairy tale characters are changing.
Asbjorn Lonvig has his very own style, so
the style of the logo is the same from one
year to another.
Asbjorn Lonvig has so far made the logo
more than 10 times.
Every year a musical - played only by
children - is performed based on director
and composer Erik Bent Svendlunds
manuscript.
