Aycot Open Position
Exciting opportunity to work with the one of the largest electronics manufactures in the world. This is a
rare chance to rebuild their public facing web site from scratch. A team of highly skilled developers are
being assembled to work on this project. There will be a wide range of technologies used including Java,
Spring, Hibernate, Maven, PHP, Groovy, ESB, Web Services, AJAX, MySQL, Oracle and possibly a NoSQL
database. The team will be building a Content Management System, Employee Portal and E-Commerce
application. There will be an opportunity to work on all layers of the application (Presentation, Middle
Tier and Persistence). This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension. The selected
individual will have used most of todays highly sought after technologies after this project. We are
looking for someone who is experienced and can work in a fast paced environment. This is 100% new
development with no barriers on technology choices. Pay is very competitive.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
6+ years of Java/J2EE development experience.
Ability to develop multi-tier applications
Knowledge of Object-Oriented methodologies
Ability to learn and obtain new technologies and languages
Web development experience
Spring 3 and Hibernate
JavaScript, AJAX and JSON
Understanding of REST
SQL/ JDBC
Eclipse or IntelliJ IDE
