1. Main Details
       Job Title          Administration Assistant

       Grade              £8.30 p/h (London Living Wage)

       Department         HR & Admin

       Responsible to     Administration and Reception Manager

       Place of Work      NUS HQ

       Hours of Work      12-15 hours per week, flexible working shifts available


2. Purpose of Job
2.1.     To deliver effective general administrative support for staff and officers within
         NUSUK and NUS Charitable Services.
2.2.     To assist in the provision of safe, clean office facilities at NUS HQ.
2.3.     To deliver outstanding customer care through the reception service at NUS HQ.
2.4.     To support the Administration and Reception Manager as required.

3. Main duties and responsibilities

Reception, front of house
3.1. To welcome visitors to NUS ensuring they are signed in at reception and their
     host is informed.
3.2. To maintain the cleanliness of the reception area.

General Administration
3.3. To sorting, frank and distribute post efficiently.
3.4. To carry out travel and taxi bookings in a timely manner.
3.5. To booking lunch for meetings.
3.6. To regularly check, maintain and report to IT any problems with photocopiers.
3.7. To order and maintain stock levels on all stationery across NUS.

Other
3.8. To ensure the cleanliness of the office environment, including regularly cleaning
      and tidying the kitchen area.
3.9. To prepare meeting rooms to agreed specifications and standards.
