Course description

VISION
On the Lisbon top in 2000, the European Commission stated that within 10 years Europe is
to become the most competitive knowledge-based economy worldwide. To make this
become true, we need all the talents of all European citizens. Our greatest challenge lies in
removing the barriers (in public and profit organisations, in schools) that prevent people from
different backgrounds contributing their skills and experience. This is why diversity
management is needed! The Diversity Indicator is based on the 10 critical success factors for
diversity management and functions as a guide for managers, staff, teachers, trainers and
consultants to utilize diverse talents. In the course we will apply it: how can you work with the
10 critical success factors to handle diversity issues and utilize diverse talents in the most
successful way.
