Faith Michel has been the Director of Outreach for Maryland

KUED-Salt Lake City, Utah

Public Television for more than four years. She has led a variety

of outreach initiatives at MPT, including Connecting Through Sherri Dangberg, Dir. of Community Outreach/RTL

Faith (interfaith dialogue project), Healthy Connections (health KNPB-Reno, Nevada

phone bank project), and Navigating the Road to Reentry: A

Community Approach (prisoner reentry initiative). Diane Lucas, Dir. of Programming & Outreach

UNC Center for Public Television

She comes to the public television world from an arts and Research Triangle Park, NC

education background. Faith holds a BA in music from Skidmore

College as well as an MA in music education and an EdM in Macenje “Che Che” Mazoka,

Garry Denny is the associate director of programming fo r

Wisconsin Public Television, where he has been since 1986.

Garry is the current president of the Public Television

Programmers Association and has served on the board for five

years. He is also a newly-elected member of the Independent

Television Service (ITVS) board of directors. For the past several

years, he has served on the P.O.V. Editorial Committee, served

as a reader and panelist for ITVS Open Call rounds and was a

member of the PBS Communications Advisory Committee. In

2001, Garry was named PBS Programmer of the Year. He

received his BA degree at Howard University concentrating on

film directing and broadcast management.
