                   Informazioni generali

                   Il corso è rivolto a superare brillantemente l’esame Building Converged Cisco Mul-
                   tilayer Switched Networks (BCMSN 642-812), il quale certi cherà che il candidato
                   ha acquisito importanti conoscenze e l’esperienza necessaria per lavorare al me-
                   glio su apparati di switching connessi a reti di medie e grandi dimensioni formate
                   principalmente da switch multilayer (Layer 2, Layer 3 e Layer 4).
                   Durante il corso saranno trattati argomenti riguardanti VLAN (Native, Default,
                   Static e Access), VLAN trunking (IEEE 802.1Q e ISL), VTP, RSTP, PVRST,BPDU Guard,
                   BPDU Filtering, Root Guard, Inter-VLAN routing (SVI e routed port), CEF, HSRP,
                   Wireless, Security (DHCP Spoo ng, 802.1x, VACL, Private VLAN, DHCP Snooping) e
                   Voice (descrizione generale, Voice VLAN,AutoQoS, IP Phone).
                   È indirizzato a tecnici fortemente interessati ad acquisire nuove competenze e

                   Implement VLANs
                   :: Explain the functions of VLANs in a hierarchical network.
                   :: Con gure VLANs (e.g., Native, Default, Static and Access).
                   :: Explain and con gure VLAN trunking (i.e., IEEE 802.1Q and ISL).
                   :: Explain and con gure VTP.
                   :: Verify or troubleshoot VLAN con gurations.

                   Conduct the operation of Spanning Tree protocols in a hierarchical network
                   :: Explain the functions and operations of the Spanning Tree protocols (i.e., RSTP,
                      PVRST, MISTP).
                   :: Con gure RSTP (PVRST) and MISTP.
                   :: Describe and con gure STP security mechanisms (i.e., BPDU Guard, BPDU Filte
                      ring, Root Guard).
                   :: Con gure and Verify UDLD and Loop Guard.
                   :: Verify or troubleshoot Spanning Tree protocol operations.
                   :: Con gure and verify link aggregation using PAgP or LACP.

                   Implement Inter-VLAN routing
                   :: Explain and con gure Inter-VLAN routing (i.e., SVI and routed ports).

                   Implement gateway redundancy technologies
