By faith the prostitute Rahab, because
she welcomed the spies, was not
killed with those who were
disobedient.
妓女喇合因著信，曾和和平平的接待探
子，就不與那些不順從的人一同滅亡‧
I. Background: Rahab was an
unlikely hero of faith.
拉合是一個不太可能的信心偉人.

II. Faith sees and submits to God’s plan.

“I know that the Lord has given this land to
you and that a great fear of you has fallen
on us, so that all who live in this country
are melting in fear because of you.” (書
Josh 2:9)
我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們，並且
因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了‧這地的一切
居民在你們面前心都消化了‧
III. Faith knows God’s power.
信心知道神的大能.

10 We have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red
Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to
Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the
Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. 11 When we heard
of it, our hearts melted and everyone’s courage failed
because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven
above and on the earth below.
10因為我們聽見你們出埃及的時候，耶和華怎樣在
你們前面使紅海的水乾了，並且你們怎樣待約但
河東的兩個亞摩利王西宏和噩，將他們盡行毀滅
‧11我們一聽見這些事，心就消化了‧因你們的緣
故，並無一人有膽氣‧耶和華你們的 神本是上天
下地的 神‧
IV. Faith risks everything.
信心冒險擺上一切.

“Agreed,” she replied. “Let it be as you
say.” So she sent them away and they
departed. And she tied the scarlet cord in
the window.
女人說，照你們的話行罷‧於是打發他們

V. Faith looks for God’s reward.
信心期待神的賞賜.

But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her
family and all who belonged to her, because she hid
the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and
she lives among the Israelites to this day. (Josh
6:25)

都救活了‧因為她隱藏了約書亞所打發窺探耶

David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen
from the exile to the Christ.
